What very sad news, I fondly remember Mr McNicol as the father of Sarah, from school and for his fabulous Hardware store in Trentham, it was a veritable Aladdin’s cave and he was a true gentleman - always there to help, if he didn’t have anything you needed in store he would go out of his way to get it for you.
